PT Trabaud Aromatics Laboratories was established in Jakarta, Indonesia during 1938 by it's founder Muhammad Alhamid. By 1960 it had expanded and diversified into the two divisions of fragrance and flavour.

After further expansion in 1970, the company split into PT Nilam which today focuses on perfume and fragrance oils and PT Trabaud Aromatics Laboratories which specialises in the field of flavourings for food, beverages and tobacco.

Trabaud is today managed by Abdullah and Sadiq Alhamid who have successfully grown the business and earned the respect of international firms working also with other flavouring companies in Indonesia and internationally.

Today Trabaud is one of Indonesia's leading producers of flavourings for food, drinks and tobacco. We are also actively working with international partners wishing to utilise our facilities in Indonesia for high quality yet very cost effective production.
